Rat’s burrow corner that nearly crumbled just as it approached “level.” As soon as instability occurred, we stopped. The jack was left in place and encased in a one foot thick concrete pour. Everything set perfectly. Note rotten condition of mortar.

Jeff intentionally incorporated the chimney wall in with his interior “strongbacks” for additional support, which allowed the structure to “right” itself, while still attached to the chimney.
